Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday departed Abuja airport for Zambia ahead of the Southern country's general election scheduled on October 11 2016.
Jonathan will be leading the Short Term Team of African Unions Election Observation Mission ( AUEOM) From 1st to 15th of August.
It will be recalled that former President Goodluck Jonathan during the 2015 Presidential elections lost to Buhari of the APC choice, which he became the first African incumbent President to have conceded defeat and handed over power in a peaceful political atmosphere without raising a stir in the country.
